Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
Welcome to the AUSD Expanded Learning Program! We are dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can continue to learn, grow, and thrive beyond the traditional school day. Through a balance of academic support, enrichment activities, and social-emotional learning, our programs empower students to discover new interests, build meaningful connections, and achieve their full potential.
Key Program Features
- Academic Support: Daily homework assistance, targeted tutoring, and literacy/STEM enrichment designed to reinforce classroom learning.
- Enrichment & Life Skills: Hands-on activities including arts, music, sports, coding, leadership, and community service projects.
- Healthy Snacks: A Nutritious Snack provided daily to keep students energized and focused.
- Social-Emotional Growth: Structured opportunities to build teamwork, resilience, communication skills, and self-confidence.

How to Enroll:
Expanded Learning Programs are tuition-based programs for families. However, eligible families may qualify for free or reduced tuition based on AUSD’s Expanded Learning eligibility criteria.

1. Review Eligibility: Families may submit the AUSD Expanded Learning Eligibility Verification Form to determine if they qualify for free or reduced tuition.

2. Receive Eligibility Confirmation: AUSD will review the information submitted and notify families of their eligibility and applicable tuition coverage.
3. Register with a Program Provider: Families must complete registration directly with the Expanded Learning provider serving their school site.
4. Confirm Tuition Coverage: Families will be responsible for any portion of tuition not covered through their approved eligibility level.
