Welcome to the Auburn Union School District

At our schools, we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. All students will be challenged, engaged, and obtain college and career readiness skills for a globally connected society.

The following schools will remain open tomorrow October 11, 2019:
  • Auburn Elementary
  • EV Cain Middle School
  • Rock Creek Elementary School
  • Skyridge Elementary School
Staff and Families will be notified by 5:00 a.m. if AVCC will remain open.

We have received notice from Placer County Office of Education that PG&E has issued an all-clear for Placer County and has begun the power restoration process.   At this time we have power at Rockcreek, Auburn Elementary School, Skyridge, EV Cain and the District Office. Currently, it is undetermined if Alta Vista Community Charter (AVCC) will remain open.  It is our intent to keep all schools open.

I am incredibly honored to serve as the new Superintendent of the Auburn Union School District and look forward to serving the Auburn community. What attracted me most about Auburn Union is the vision, “We stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision.” This vision is my true north and is derived from my most deeply held beliefs, values, and the principles by which I lead. Auburn Union School District is the fit I have been seeking.
