Our lady wildcats host Granite Oaks today in the Dragila Gym. First tip off is at 4:00.
- We will have a Touch of Class assembly today and are on an assemble schedule.
- There will be a theme for clothes each day: Wednesday – School spirit with eyes to the future – wear Cain clothes and colors, future high school clothes or colors, or future college clothes
Thursday – Sports pride in honor of the Olympics – wear sports or team clothes that you are proud of
Friday – Dress with class – wear clothes that show you at your best (like clothes you would wear to go out to a nice restaurant or church, etc.) - Team games will be on Wednesday and Thursday during the lunch periods. Prizes will be awarded.
To participate, a 6-person team must have at least 2 males, at least 2 females, and one staff member. Start forming your teams as soon as possible. All
members need to have the same lunch period. - There will be a Touch of Class banquet on Friday. The price will be the same as a regular lunch, but the menu will be a nice pasta lunch with all the extras. That will be the only food sold that day. Anyone is welcome to bring his or her own lunch and join the fun.
- Two Dances will be held on Friday. The 6th grade dance is from 2:45 until 5:00pm with the 7th & 8th grade dance followowing from 6:00 until 8:30pm
Dress is the same – wear nice clothes. Formal dresses ARE NOT appropriate. Refreshments will be sold for cash and photos will be available. Tickets will be sold at lunchtime beginning Monday. Tickets will start at $3.00 and go up each day, so buy early and save. Tickets must be signed ahead of time to enter the dance. - Many other cool activities are planned, so be sure to listen carefully to your morning announcements each day. We want everyone to join in, have fun, and get classier!
Safe, Respectful, Responsible Tip of the Week
- Your time tracker can be a useful tool only if you use it. Have it out in each class and make sure to write down all upcoming assignments and tests.
